How to Add New Users to Your Account

Adding users or agents in you account boosts workplace productivity. By giving multiple team members access to Chats and other features, you can distribute tasks and help everyone focus on working efficiently.

  1. Accessing User Settings:
    • Navigate to the Top Navigation bar and Click on “More.”
    • Select “Users.”
  2. Creating a New User Account:
    • Click on the “+” icon in the “Add More” card to initiate the creation of a new user account.
  3. Providing User Information:
    • Fill in the required information, including Name, Contact Number, Email ID, and Password. Ensure the provided email ID and contact number are unique and not associated with any existing user.
  4. Setting Data Visibility:
    • Choose the Data Visibility option: “All” or “Own.”
      • All” grants access to all data within Bytepaper.
      • Own” limits access to data specifically assigned to the user.
  5. Assigning User Role:
    • Use the User Type field to assign a specific role, such as Admin or Sales. This role dictates the user’s level of control over data and settings.
  6. Defining User Role Profiles:
    • User roles are predefined profiles or sets of permissions that determine the level of access a user has within a system or application. These roles categorize users based on their responsibilities and required access to various features or modules within the system.   7. User Types:
    • An Admin role provides full administrative rights, allowing access to all user data and settings.
    • A Sales role restricts visibility to data assigned to the user, ensuring data security and limited access to sensitive information.
  8. Reporting Structure:
    • In the “Report To” section, select the person to whom the user will report. This establishes a hierarchy, clarifying responsibilities and accountabilities within your organization.
  9. Saving User Profile:
    • Click on “Save” to finalize the user account creation process.

Note: If you are using the Appointment version, an additional field called “Appointment Eligibility” will be visible. Select “Yes” if you want to make this user is eligible for taking appointments.
